The winter is slowly approaching so I had to go look in my Archives for something that screamed summer to me. Love the cold waters of the Atlantic ocean
The photo was actually taken yesterday, I didn’t get time to post it last night. It was such a lovely sunny day in Cape Town (its the start of winter now) so I drove out and took some pictures.
Summer is running high here in South Africa at the moment and when its hot, everyone take it to the beach! I went to the beach with some friends of mine who started their senior year in high school a few days ago, we celebrated their last few days of being free before the year starts with a bang.
The two of them became friends throughout the past two year in High School and they always know just how to have fun.
Running around in the shallow waters, Lanita laughed as she forgot how cold the Atlantic really gets.
Soaking up the sun and enjoying her last few days of the summer holiday.
Wondering if her Senior Year will be what everyone makes it out to be?
Between the two of them they have the right amount of spunk, the enjoy life while they are still young and carefree.

Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive down to the beach. Living in Cape Town is such a blessing and everything is in driving distance and not too far. I thought, we are going to the beach, so why not take my camera with! I think it might be time for giving my camera a name too 
So I drove down to the beach, just in time to get awesome shots.

Here is a picture I took of Table Mountain. It was recently added to one of the seven wonders of nature! When traveling abroad and coming home after a long trip, you wake up in the plain when the Pilot says “Welcome to the Mother City” and you look out the window and see the wonderful mountain welcoming you home. At that moment you know you are back home!
