The photo was actually taken yesterday, I didn’t get time to post it last night. It was such a lovely sunny day in Cape Town (its the start of winter now) so I drove out and took some pictures.
This photo was taken on a Farm in the Klein Karoo district. This beetle is unusually large and most people mistake it for a dung beetle however its just a normal beetle you will see in the city just a third of it size.
Look at all the different colors in this picture, different shades of brown and green. When I look at this picture I see the contrasts that nature provides.
The past weekend I was at the Meulstroom Lodge in Mpumalanga. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and for the first time in weeks I was able to get a proper nights rest. Hope you enjoy the pictures just as much I enjoyed taking them.
